With these factors, I was led into a period of depression, which adversely affected my academic performance that I am deeply regretful of.
Going into my second year of study, I feel more prepared about what to expect from attending university after having experienced the hardships of my previous year.
I now have a newer and more positive outlook with the support of family members and old friends. Living in a new and better form of residence, I also feel that I now have a clean slate to go on with my studies and quality of life. My goal is to better organize time and work, and acquire my enthusiasm for school once again to fully apply myself and produce more quality work that I know I can.
I intend to raise my grade average to meet the expectations of my program, leading my to also no longer fail any courses.
