Introduction to Information Systems. A conceptual study of information systems in organizations. Introduction to Voice and Data Security. A study of security in both the voice and data networks and an examination of the security issues associated with the movement toward a convergence of the two infrastructures. Topics to be covered include voice and data network connectivity, modem security, VOIP security, wireless security, cryptography, intrusion detection systems, voice and data firewalls, malicious software, information operations and warfare, and denial of service attacks.
